I agree there’s no point in worrying about what might or might not happen. There is substantial abuse in the benefits system, especially post covid, so some tightening up is definitely needed, but those with genuine need will be OK. However, Rachel from accounts (or, more accurately, Rachel from Customer Services) is managing to destroy the economy even before this, so the damage is already done. There are far more issues that worry me about broken Britain than this!
