I’ve bought the hard wire kit I’ll just fit it myself doesn’t need any holes cut so no one will ever know and I don’t care.
Honestly I’ve had so many incidents of others bad driving I hate not having one at the moment, at the end of the day it’s not about stopping others bad driving it’s about protecting yourself from idiots and liars. I would’ve killed for one when I was a field engineer the times a day I had to dodge others stupidity. I had a 3 lane roundabout once the guy to my left just chopped the lot and hit me sideways and argued it was my fault for chopping lanes when I had a bus on my right, too many clowns on the road
At the end of the day its not as important with motability as its not your insurance as such but I’ve had a 50/50 situation before that was settled due to a dashcam and resulting in the offending motorcyclist getting charged and enjoying a free holiday. I doubt without the dashcam it would’ve happened.
Same with stuff like bash for cash its just proves you’re telling the truth, it’s like an insurance policy the covers your arse. No right or wrong answer to having one it’s personal choice but I really like having one gives you a little lift from anxiety I find.
