No I’m not renewing just yet, got another year to complete the current 3 year term then hoping to extend another 2 years.
This has to do with the tremendous AP’s were seeing ATM coupled to another grand for adaptions. My current car cost me near on £4k including adaptions and as they like to say these day’s is “not sustainable” and with the push for EV’s I think I might have to leave MB in a few years time as I can’t handle these cost every 3 years, that and not likely being able to handle heavy charging cables and trip hazards I’ve seen at charging stations. Might be OK for non disabled drivers but only 1 third of MB costumers are actually disabled drivers. Like yourself MB is not about new cars, its about being carefree in the hands of a system that’s supposed to support disabled drivers, but yes, support disabled folk, but not disabled drivers.
Meanwhile before looking at the second-hand market the end of next year those levers that are talked about here have drawn me closer to thinking the second-hand market will be the way to go in time to come because it looks like the sort of thing that one of my grand kids could fit easily.
On the other hand never say never as far as MB goes and I would be very interested in that Wireless Mini Keypad and how it fits into the car and what it is like to use. I will try to get to a road show this year and have a look there, famous last words as I seem to say that every year but times are getting hard now.
