    Well, the fitter has said they can reduce the speed a bit if I’m uncomfortable with the pick-up, suggesting I’m not used to driving an EV. (The salesperson, when driving the car looked like a learner driver on his first attempt in a manual, the car was leapfrogging down the forecourt). I’ve been driving electric motor hybrids for 10 years, and know if I floor it, its quick (esp in sport mode). So, I’ve given up and will be returning to a mechanical solution and may email Veigel (a German company) to say that their device proved incompatible with a German EV.
