Just signed my son up, gone back to Vodafone. We previously got a good deal with Shell but they sold it to TalkTalk (bl@@dy useless) so as it runs out mid Feb I’ve switched him over using Broadband Genie.
Moving from 60+Mb FTTC to 500Mb FTTP with a min of 250Mb guaranteed, costs £26 a month so £2.95 less than he was paying TalkTalk and he gets a £60 Amazon/Sainsburys voucher as well. Switchover should be done on Jan 30th, they guarantee a one touch switchover so he (or more likely me) don’t have to do anything, they will pay up to £100 if TalkTalk try slapping any extra charges on for leaving, so far they’ve said it’ll be £12.99 but we’ll see!.
