We flew into Newcastle late New Years Eve, 50mph+ winds and p-ing down!.  Pilot did a very good job and almost a normal landing 🙂

The drive home down the A1 was “interesting” 🙂
Not a lot of traffic but even the Enyaq at 2.75 tonnes (plus passengers and luggage) was being blown sideways!.

Not impressed with the Premium parking at Newcastle this trip, I’d asked them to have the car at the office ready for me, they park them far too close together for me to be able to get into it.  Got soaked and frozen on the walk to the office, then got told it’s just outside, C9 which turned out not to be true.

I’d already hurt my legs before the trip so trying to find it using both sticks in the wind and rain was not a pleasant experience, my ex-wife had the job of dragging the luggage along so that went well!.  Eventually found the car and big surprise parked inbetween 2 others with about 35cm of space either side 🙁

I was about to go back to the office and kick off when luckily the driver of the car next to my drivers side turned up so managed to get in after he left.  Both of us were soaked and freezing by then but luckily I’d managed to set the car to pre-heat once we got through passport control and had a signal.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
