The PPF particles get burned off under deceleration. The easiest way to clear this is to be in manual mode if an auto or allow by choosing a lower gear and allowing engine breaking in a manual.
Deceleration increases the amount of oxygen (lean) flowing through the engine and exhaust system, This raises the temperature in the PPF, to ignite and burn off the soot particles.
I had the Tucson (same engine) and as DJP only had the light on twice in the 2.5 years I had it.
You can turn the attention warning off in the settings, its only really neaded on long journeys/motorways etc.
