I don’t know why they changed back to a 3 year term. In my opinion the option to extend was perfect, especially when there was nothing on the scheme that was suitable. By changing it back to a maximum of 3 years they’ve made a rod for their own back.
I agree with you. Even though I’m not a fan of extended leases, there are many that are!
