Found out yesterday that the batteries are not being delivered till the end of January 2025. Went ballistic with the installer who has offered an alternative capacity if 30kwh from a “superior” battery, not been told the make of the “superior” battery. I called Fogstar, the battery supplier, who told me it was in fact their fault the batteries weren’t installed, apparantly they didn’t get the supply they had ordered and unfortunately my order was not filled. I’ve no idea why my installer didn’t tell me this as it would have made for a more friendly discussion.
I will wait until I’m told what alternative is being offered before making a decision. My initial thought is to wait and get the 45kwh Fogstar Batteries installed late January but will see what he says.
The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
