For anyone with other suppliers, EDF are offering 8 hours free on Christmas day between 8am and 4pm. You need to sign up for their Sunday Saver Challenge to be eligible.
EON are offering free electricity for 3 days from 24-26 December. They are also waiving the standing charges for these days. To be eligible you need to sign up to the Next Rewards Days 12 months fixed tariff by 3rd December. You must have a smart meter, an online account and pay by direct debit.
I’m just waiting patiently in the hope that Octopus comes up with something similar.
