Thank you for your responses. The reason I ask is when I asked a Motability advisor on the chat feature, they suggested it is important to inform the insurer. Has anyone had any experience of premiums changing after declaring an incident?
Naz – as we have explained, there are NO premiums to pay whatsoever, so even with claims that are entirely your fault there is no financial consequence beyond the (£250?) excess. You are worrying about a problem that doesn’t exist as a Motability customer. It’s one of the benefits of the scheme. Call Direct Line to put your mind at ease.
