I’ve had one for 4 years now and will probably order another in December.
I’ve not done a “brim to brim” test so these figures are just going by the readout on the dash …
Motorway and A-Road sticking to the speed limits and taking it easy (i.e. not flooring it as you come off a roundabout) – 40+mpg, usually about 44mpg
Motorway and A-road, a bit above the speed limits but nothing too silly (i.e. mostly 75 on the motorway but never over 80) – 37-39 mpg
Both of the above figures are on a regular 200 mile trip to Edinburgh. I’m sure if you stuck to 56mph you’d get 50 mpg if you wanted to.
Urban – I would say about 29-35 mpg. It’s a bit difficult to tell as there are no pure urban routes around us that I drive. Our house is in a village and the largest town (Whitby) is 5 miles away on A-roads and isn’t that urban really.
I’d hate to think what it would be like driving it in London. Low 20’s I would guess. I’ve no idea what difference it being a mild hybrid makes.
Overall it’s a great car and I’ve been really pleased with it. The infotainment system is the worst aspect of it and is rubbish, but mine doesn’t have airplay/android which I think the new ones do.
