@Ioniq the heat pump is working a treat, -7*C last night and the house was very comfortable. The thermostat was set to 21*C for the 24 hour period and it worked well. My electricity usage for Sunday when it was -2 to -7 *C was 55kwh this includes powering the house – no washing machine, dishwasher or car charging – so the vast majority of the use was the heat pump. if we say 50kwh was the heat pump use and that a quarter of the use was at the cheap 8.5 p per kwh, my cost is about £10 for the 24 hrs. When i have my batteries installed this will drop to £4.25p
The main thing with all of this that my wife is happy …………….. so far lol.
The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
