It has got out of hand and the fireworks for real displays were not always sold in the old days you mainly had them tiny bangers which I think were taken off sale in the 1980s. I do remember an old School hardware shop selling us school kids 13 and 14 I was at the time and of course they are exciting to us at this age and now wonder how we escaped with no injuries things I remember were mad like putting bangers in milk bottles over our park no one was around and running a certain distance never did that again. Did burn hands on them sparkler’s though and a very silly thing trying to light one indoors on electric fire bar holy moly got a light shock luckily. So did learn never to mess around with these explosives.
