We joined Octopus in late summer 2023, after our mega cheap old fixed deal ended. Currently at £1800 in credit after setting the DD to what they estimated it should be. I tried getting a refund, nope…so reduced my DD from £500 to £300 a month, and may reduce further if it doesn’t come down to a decent level after this winter.

Gas 4,597.352 Kw, £268.33 inc. standing charge, heating on twice a day, (6.30-9am, 4-10.30pm) and all day weekends, but will be switching to all day (6.30am to 111pm) once this current mini heatwave subsides. All day heating increases my bill by around £5 a day.
