Waited a while on this car returning to the scheme, but yeah can’t happen for me, at the price you can expect right now… Shame. It’s awful timing for those coming to an end of their lease. ☹️ May have my info incorrect, you seem to hear of new rules every other day, but isn’t £7-8k more than somebody on benefits is allowed to hold in their bank account before deductions would start? Fair play if this isn’t an issue for people.
PIP, which is the qualifying benefit for the majority of Motability customers, isn’t means tested, so anyone who can afford the AP is quite at liberty to get one. I shouldn’t imagine that anyone applying for a grant towards the AP would stand a chance, but neither should they IMHO.
