Handed our Skoda Octavia back to a dealer in the Northwest and found it for sale near Kent for £16,750. It was described as pristine condition, low mileage, ULEZ compliant, all the things I said would mean Motability would make a profit on it.
Book price new was £24,500. The used car dealer is probably making £1500. Take the vat and Motability discount off that new price, then factor in £1000 AP and 3 1/2 years of PIP and you can see they easily made money out of us.
