    Thanks for all the info on the practicalities and costs of PHEVs. Sadly, only the diesel and PHEV Kodiaq are currently available on the scheme. If the eTSI was on, I would switch my order to one. Great car, imho. interesting comments and in the bigger picture outside of the scheme, all that extra dead weight consisting of highly polluting mining and transport of cobalt, lithium, copper etc plus neodymium for the motor, inverters etc is hardly eco friendly. BIK bribery to achieve what, exactly?

    That argument can be applied to BEV’s in a similar manor, as charging the useable and not the gross battery capacity from 20-80%, means, the majority of time, you are carrying 30-40% dead weight.
