Hi @kezo Yes, spot on. Average now over 52 mpg which is 10 mpg better than the X1. As you say, winter will be an interesting test, as the BMW only dropped about 10% max in the coldest winter months, whereas if BEVs are anything to go by we could see a drop that is much worse, certainly in so far as the battery range is concerned.
Assuming that you are working out your ‘true’ mpg accurately using the total pence per mile method (😉😂) I’m surprised that you are averaging so much more than me, especially as you do regular longer journeys where mpg won’t be great (early / mid 40s?). Is it because you are racking up a lot of miles in EV mode each day on your daughter’s school run? My ICE mpg equivalent would never get much beyond 80 mpg even if I did 100% of my driving in EV mode and never did any journeys beyond the range of the battery, but maybe your electric costs are considerably less than mine?
