I will miss the superb daily view, but my son’s new house is in a nice village with a cracking gastro pub only 60 metres from our front door. It’s a large, lovely place to live, and is much closer to his work place for his daily commute.
It has six bedrooms/5 baths in a ‘Georgian style’ main house, and a separate two bedrooms and two baths barn conversion with large kitchen and lounge. It’s all enclosed in a safe and secure quadrangle of old stables, garages and workshops etc, and gets maximum sun on the courtyard on a daily basis. (it is also totally flat with no steps).
It’s still 14c here, but the wind has dropped now (just to stay on topic, lol)
