The Austral really does look very nice but what I’ve seen doesn’t constitute a test drive, It’s definitely worth a look though as is the Tuscon, the Qashqai and the HS. I’ve had an MG for 3 years and it wasn’t a complete failure like the ‘it’s Chinese’ worry-mongers will let you think. MG are built by the company that built the VAG cars for the Chinese market, they’ve learned a lot about how to build well from Audi and how to build well on a budget from the VW/Skoda cars they built.
IF electric isn’t impossible, the Enyaq will have everything you need space wise and I’ve seen some good offers on the Sportline AWD version.
