Sorry to hear about this Hayley. It’s called Sods Law! I don’t think that Motability will help as you are technically not yet a customer, but it’s worth a phone call to ask. They are very helpful and the worst they can say is no. If the dealer knows that your car is definitely coming in within a few weeks there’s an outside chance that they might help you out, but I have never found VW dealers to be very good. Again, you can ask. My sense is that your best bet is to get your current car fixed ASAP as VW lead times can (and do) slip several times and you will need to get it fixed anyway in order to sell it.
