Most EV,s have variable ranges as does petrol cars.
I tend not to look at or get too hung up on what range is showing left, and go by percentage charge left.
The car systems runs on 12v, all the tech, sensors, radar, computers, all use that in the background. The 12v battery takes care of that.
Just enjoy the car, unless its a Friday car like Des,s. That is an awful situation.
Its a car to be driven and enjoyed.
Once mine gets down to 40-50% charge, it gets plugged in.
