Well mixed brand now on front axle

Goodyear original and now a continental

The steering is dire unsettled and feels quite odd

The Megan has a normal very reactive accurate steering on 4 goodyears

Now I dread driving the car

Here are the tyre specs and although no expert  the specs seem to differ

Any thoughts as I cant drive it liike it is

    215/45 R20 T XL is continental replacement

215/45 R20   R   Goodyear original on same axle

    ………………………………………….

UPDATE as just read this THOUGHTS?

Is a R20 T XL tyre and a 215/45 R20 R tyre the same? and allowed on same axle?

Abit confused as the continental is extra load and other 3 original Goodyears are radials

    …………………………………………………

    No, a 215/45 R20 T XL tire and a 215/45 R20 R tire are not the same:

No, you should not mix radial and non-radial tires on the same axle. In general, it’s not recommended to mix tires at all, as it can be dangerous and illegal.

Here are some reasons why you should not mix tires:

Safety: Mixing tires can increase the risk of accidents by creating an imbalance in steering, braking, and rolling resistance.

    XL
XL stands for Extra Load, and indicates that the tire has reinforced sidewalls and can carry heavier loads than a standard tire.

    R
The letter R indicates that the tire is a radial tire, which is the construction method used.

    …………………………………………………………………………..

It seems at the very least that they have mixed load ratings on the same axle?

Cant be right can it ?
