Tailgate beeping is a safety issue they all do that even cars I’ve had from 2005 beep it might even be a legal requirement. All EVs are the same defaulting to the normal mode in startup I don’t know why they don’t allow you to set a custom default maybe they don’t want us setting sport as the default lol.
I’m not entirely convinced eco mode really affects much I’ve played around with it maybe it makes it easier to hit the higher efficiencies but other than reduced power to the aircon it’s nothing you can’t do yourself.
I’m on 3000 miles now and my long term is 3.8miles per kwh which I’m pretty happy with.
@Dee49 sorry you’re having those issues 4.1 definitely exists it sounds to me like modules have been updated and not reset as part of the update as I understand it they update and then are supposed to reset each module so everything is on the correct version. If it’s not done properly I’ve heard of others saying they had weird stuff like charging flap randomly not unlocking and more. I’ve seen some people pulling fuses on various modules to force them off and on and that’s been reported to help matters.
It seems it’s like doing a Windows update when it needs a reboot afterwards not doing it and then the computer acts all weird.
Is there another dealer you can go to that might be better? Maybe lay cards on the table and tl them if it’s mot sorted you’re going to reject the car and they’ll get it back.
Min start is going to be plug it in and upgrade reset reboot whatever their terminology is every module.
Totally understand your situation my youngest we’ve been suspicious since he was a toddler but because he was coping at school no one cared, well until he reached Y11 then he was diagnosed with diabetes and coeliac and he fell apart. He’s def ASD at some level. First day of college he refused to get out of bed, the leave the house, then get in the car, then wouldn’t get out the car. Had to get tutors to come talk to him and even then only way he’d stay all day was if we stayed in the car park all day.
He’s OK now and getting the bus but he’s still regularly a mess. If you haven’t already get the school to assess her and get on the waiting list for an assessment here it’s a 2 year wait minimum. Earlier you can get intervention the better chances of support are esp stuff like exams on a laptop, exams in small group, extra time and a lot more. If they say coping at school tell them to chuff off and do it anyway because they cope until they don’t and when that happens it’s really hard to fix.
Apologies if teaching you to suck eggs and going off topic.
