SUV guy I would not put anybody off ordering the e3008. I got a dud, simple as that. There are plenty of folk on the FB group happily motoring away, yes a few with some of the problems I’ve had, but nothing as concerning as mine. One other thing and I’ve said this to Pops. They went from delivering them at a very fast rate, to very little the last month or two. I presume they know the problems and are slowing things down so people get cars that work as recalls and workshop visits cost them money. The range does seem to be another problem and Forbes has sussed it. There is no regeneration on mine, yes it works as in slowing the car down, but never seems to add as much as a mile to range. They think a bug maybe. And they are right and it was something I didn’t give enough thought too, it’s about as aerodynamic as a brick, so the much bigger e5008 will probably be worse. For a top spec model it has nothing really especially if you look at the scenic e-tech. Would I have enjoyed the car if little or no problems existed, aye, yes. It drives well, looks great and is a beautiful place to sit in, especially at night. I got over the V2L thing, realised that the range would not be a big problem so I made my peace with it after about 4 days glitch free and decided I would just try and enjoy it. Then it cooked me on a drive to a restaurant and I ended up all sweaty and peed off again lol

I’d take that a touch further.  The e3008 has a number of common issues, the app doesn’t work particularly well.  However, there’s practically no new car that hasn’t an issue or two in common, the Ioniq 5 had an issue with the 12v battery charging system and still has a good few people with a rattle from the boot latch.  The question is always whether there’s a solution for the issue and whether it bothers you?

I’m not too bothered by the 3008 but the bigger version may be a consideration as there’s some proper research behind the front seats.  However, Stellantis has an epic record for customer service and that really worries me should anything go wrong.  That said my local dealership is the same as Hyundai, so I’m confident in their standards.
