    @Rene The first Tesla was on the M5, the other Tesla and She’ll were on busy Trunk A road dual carriageways. The MER were in a harbour in Dorset. The car says we averaged 4 miles per KWh, but I’ll take that with a pinch of salt.

    Well, lets see. You recharged 160kwh, and said that the last stint was close so you topped up, lets assume you arrived using up 60kwh of a full charge (you didn’t mention with how much charge left you arrived).

    850 miles / 220kwh = 3.86 miles per kwh. That’s a good number, in particular, again, if you take the size into account. Now i can’t tell you how spirited you drove, but either way, that’s a good result. Even more so if you consider the petrol prices in Dorset (when we went to Lyme Regis a few weeks ago, petrol was £1.47). 3.9ish is also pretty close to 4mpkwh, so it’s not that inaccurate.
