Maybe it’s how you have your seat but measuring where my knees were between both cars there was a considerable bigger gap between seat back and knee in the Enyaq. I really noticed it in the Ioniq thought it was really poor when I sat in it. We have 2 teenage boys so need the space. Dunno how they claim 520l in the 5 definitely couldn’t fit dogs in the boot for a long journey. It’s weird how the claimed volume is so close yet when you look it looks way smaller (I did a cheeky park side by side whilst on the Enyaq test drive pmsl) The floor height 56cm for the Enyaq vs 75cm for the 5 make a huge difference and that sloping roof… I definitely prefer the dashboard in the Ioniq, I don’t like the tiny screen in the Enyaq but it’s just toys at the end of the day lol Anyway won’t drag the Enyaq thread off course again.
The boot is definitely 520 litres, its 580 litres when you slide the rear seats forward.
Dont forget the boot is only measured below the load cover not the area above, however this makes no difference.
The enyaq has a slightly bigger boot and ioniq 5 has a bigger rear seating area with more leg room, proven by the banana box video above, you cannot argue with that.
