Personally I wouldn’t video the salesman doing the handover. I think they’d rightly think that I was an extremely odd person doing that 😂. As there is usually around a week between the car arriving at the dealership and the car being ready for pick up, I always go to look at it when it arrives and take the owners manual home to read before I pick the car up. Often you can access the owners manuals online well before that.
The salesman was great at the handover when we picked up our Hyundai Tucson Ultimate PHEV a month ago, and was happy to explain anything at all, but if he had gone through all of the cars features and functions then I’d still be there now 😂 What he did do, which was very useful, was set up the BlueLink system with my phone so that I had full functionality from the off.
Even though I read the manual cover to cover and have driven the car for a month, I’m still learning new things. In fact, the car has so many features, many of them weren’t even mentioned in the manual – even though it was 2 inches thick 😂.
