Mine was on when we had the cold snap a few days back – had to scrape ice off the car one morning!
Off now, but feeling cold today so it may end up back on before dinner time. Only used 27,000kw of gas so far this year (1st Jan onwards), should hit 45,000kw before christmas, and that’s a mild winter. Heat pump not an option here!
Electricity is good at 5000kw so far (have an EV, so its more than just putting the kettle on).
