The Enyaq (and all the other cars built on the MEB platform) range estimate is b@ll@cks most of the time, it’s not referred to as a GoM (GuessoMeter) for nothing!.

The highest I’ve seen mine on a full charge since leaving the showroom was about 310, in reality I get 270-280 in Summer, in Winter when it shows about 220 I get around 170-180, a long way short of the published 327 miles range for the AWD version (85x).

I’m not complaining too much as I’d read a lot about battery efficiency in the cold and knew what to expect.

I hope my next EV will have a much better range so I can charge it less during the Winter, I have a home charger but have to run the 8m cable over my front garden, through a small opening in a  fence and then bend right down to feed it through the KerboCharge cable gully buried into the footpath.  It’s not a bad job in the Summer but in colder months when everything is siezing up and hurting a lot more it gets painful very quickly.

One thing to look at going into Winter is buy some silicon spray and give the charge port lock (the bit that sticks out inside the port) a light spray every 3 months or so, it reduces the chance of it sticking shut.  A very well known VAG problem which has been happening to their cars for years, and not just on EV’s.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
