    @Brydo That OVO anytime seems a very good deal. They just quoted me 23.96 per unit with 38.64 standing charge. The anytime deal can be added to any OVO tariff.

    My experience of OVO Anytime is positive. Their app gives you the upcoming 48 hours of the grids’ carbon levels (green, amber or red) so you can aim for the green times if you want but I mainly charged the car at night and I’d plug it in just after 10pm and and it would invariably start charging almost immediately – it never let me down. Also, I’ve only just learnt that they’ve started a Battery Boost tariff that let’s you charge the battery overnight for 10p per kwh but that’s another story…
