    @Oscarmax As you said earlier, it seems that your PHEV has a different setup. The Tucson seems to default to the Auto setting (a mix of EV and HEV), the other 2 options being EV (only) and HEV. When doing a round trip journey that is within the EV only range, I am using EV mode as I know that’s by far the cheapest way, as the petrol engine isn’t used at all. However, having tried longer journeys in both ‘Auto’ and ‘HEV’ modes, Auto’ mode seems to be much more economical. The review from Fleet News that @kezo posted earlier seems to confirm that as well. They got 7mpg better economy driving in Auto than HEV mode. I guess that’s why the car defaults to ‘Auto’ if that’s the most economical? It’s still early days though and I don’t claim to be an expert yet, far from it (hence all my questions 😂) but, from what I’ve experienced so far, HEV mode in the Tucson seems to be the least economical.
