    Well getting in touch with the Motability CEO backfired, just had an email from the Skoda salesman saying they have cancelled it. “Please be advised that after a conversation with Motability Operations your application and order for a Skoda Enyaq Coupe has been closed down and cancelled.” The guy acting on the CEO’s behalf has just accepted what the dealership have told him give a load of bumf about how they have been assured retail are not prioritized over Motability customers. And now my partner is currently spiralling in panic, maybe we’ll go dance with the next bus to go past….

    Has the dealer cancelled the order because they were pee’d off you went to Motability’s CEO or because the CEO dept told them to cancell it? If it was the former I’d got back to the CEO, stating how your dealer has thrown their toys out of the pram, just because you questioned their practice.

    They probably took exception to being accused of ‘shady’ practices! One albeit small positive is that Daviddec was considering cancelling the order and getting a different car so this will have made his mind up although in an unpleasant way.
