16p off peak? I feel for you that’s more than we pay peak. Honestly energy in Britain is utterly broken
Yup, we only have about 3 electricity companies over here so lack of competition doesn’t help our prices. Peak rates are currently between 27-34p per kwh. My new day/night meter won’t be installed until next week, so I’m having to pay my standard 29p per kwh until then.
