You should idealy be paying the AP on the day of collection or no more than 3 days prior to collection, if paying by bank transfer. If you haven’t already been paid it, you will eligible for the £750 New Vehicle Payment, which could be used towards the AP or as cash into your bank account. When you hand your current vehicle back, you will be eligible for the Good Condition Bonus, which will be paid into your bank a few days after you collect your new vehicle. Whils’t there is no official discounts available on the AP, you can sometimes agree small discount with your dealer. @BigDave runs an excellent thread called “Motability discounts and offers”, in which dealers offer discounts off the AP or cashback and sometimes a free TV 😂. This thread runs every quarter and is regularly updated with offers. If you see an offer you like but, the dealer is too far away, it is always worth showing your local dealer and asking them to match it.
how much is the good condition bonus now ?
We got 600 back off our last car but when ordered our ioniq 5 recently the dealer told us they only give you £250 now, if that correct?
