Hi @kezo When the car was apparently in Sport mode (and also when HEV mode activated) I was on the motorway using adaptive cruise control at speeds ranging from 65 to 80 mph, so I wouldn’t have noticed any difference in responsiveness. I noticed a numeric rev counter when the petrol engine was being used, but I can’t remember if that shows in Eco mode as well. Probably at least 75% of my driving so far has been in EV mode, so I haven’t really scrutinised what happens when using petrol. BTW, I remain very impressed at the transition from EV to petrol. It really is imperceptible and usually only detectable by the instrument cluster.
To answer your other question, yes, when in HEV mode and the battery is depleted, the car still goes into EV mode for periods, mostly at lower speeds.
