This happens with mine but by the morning it will have reached the right percentage charge. I did wonder if its balancing the grid demand possibly or maybe doing it to care for the battery but then began to think I was overthinking it so left it do its thing and it has reached its state of charge I want successfully every time.
Octopus customers will get a 50% discount on their overnight charge this coming Monday night
they have emailed saying :
“Here’s what you need to do to get the Bank Holiday Recharge:
– Plug in on the night of Monday 26th August
– Keep the car unplugged on Tuesday 27th August night”
Within two weeks, they say that they will work out what was used during the Bank Holiday Recharge and credit your Octopus account 50% back. May be useful for people who don’t know and are travelling this weekend.
