I received a call on 24th February from dealer telling me my car had arrived and asked me when I’d like to collect I said the following week so I’d get new registration not that I was bothered but was told no as according to them motability have a rule saying if car is not handed over within 4 days it has to be returned not unless it was still within your lease date.
Sounds very much like dealer BS to me. Our last 2 cars arrived in the month before a plate change and both (different) dealers said that we could take the car immediately or delay until the plate change, saying it made no difference to them.
