Hi @KP85E13 I’m trying to do same set of sums as you about Brit Gas tariffs. I need to know whether BG increases the standard daytime tariff if you sign up for ev tariff. Also need to know how much the increase would be. Cannot get BG to tell me anything on subject: it will not give me any answers unless I install one of its smart meters which I am trying to avoid. So, can you help me with at least some idea of rates with ev tariff switched on? Background/reason for question: just ordered an ID.3 and trying to work out whether it’ll be cheaper to forego ev tariff and avoid increased daytime rate. I only cover around 2,000 miles per year and have pretty high electricity usage in house (4,159 kwh per year), so I am concerned that I’ll end up worse off. Moreover, I really do not want a smart meter – it WILL go wrong, cost me even more money, leave me with uncharged car, and make me a gibbering wreck trying to get sense out of gibbering box-tickers on BG’s so-called helpline. Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers…
