Update, saw the new diabetic nurse on Monday, she’s very efficient!. Did the usual battery of stuff, blood pressure is spot on, she even managed to get bloods without leaving a 4″ bruise like the last nurse!. Everything has came back OK but my HbA1c is up by 15, not unexpected given I’ve had no sticky pens for several months!.
She’s put me on Mounjaro, 2.5ml for 4 weeks, assuming bloods in 3 weeks come back OK, I don’t die or have any other weird side effects she’ll put it up to 5ml 🙂
I’m starting it tomorrow so it ties in with my usual 4 week meds cycle. So, if I suddenly stop posting at least you’ll know why 😀
