Only if you fill the battery. I’ve never done a full charge on a rapid I’ve done 80% a few times rest it’s been a quick top up to reach the destination.
It’s not really what rapids are for. Every single other mile from that battery cost me absolutely nothing as I’ve had the charger capped at 1.4kw so the solar panels have put every mile on it.
Didn’t need the charge it was just a quick test. Plenty of cheaper chargers around BP pulse I use in Derby is 8kw charger and cost 39p right near the Airbnb I use so park up overnight full next day.
I was spending £200 a month on diesel before 99% we charge exclusively at home and that’s either cheap or free depending on weather lol. Even with charging or electricity bill is under £100 a month.
It’s about the average cost over time, sure that rapid charge occasionally will be pricey but it still averages out next to nothing.
