    Just for info.  i used the Kwikfit home service for the first time this year.   i upgraded the wheels of my ID.3 from 19″ to 20″ when purchasing.   i put all this into the online order form but the next day the guy turned up with a 19″ tyre so obviously no good.  i made another online booking and repeated the process which was accepted for the day after this time though i phoned through to kwikfit and they confirmed that another 19″ tyre had been ordered.   the operator cancelled the job and we booked it again over the phone and i gave them all the information about the tyre currently on my car.  next day technical turned up with correct tyre and job was done within 30 minutes.  hopefully they have sorted out the online gremlins but for piece of mind might be better to phone in and check that your order is as you expect it.

    i then phoned Motability to see what wheels they thought were on my car for the insurance.  they told me that the insurance doesn’t work in the same way as personal policy so the additions to the car did not matter.  hopefully I never find my car on bricks
