I went through the private plate removal & retention process on Sunday. All very straightforward. I called both Motability and the insurance company first thing Monday and they both said that the lease and insurance policy would both update with the new reg (which is the same as the car was registered with originally) within 2-3 days. Just checked and that hasn’t happened yet – it still shows my private plate 🤔 Hopefully it will update before I hand the car back next week 🤞
