Snow tyres will improve any vehicle in those cold conditions no matter how it’s powered.
If you’d feel more comfortable with snow tyres on I’d get them, subject to Motability giving the okay but can’t see why they’d object if you’re paying and live in an area affected by snow 🤷♂️
Personally I just used to take the day off if it was bad, told work it isn’t safe for me to be out there as a wheelchair user… besides it would only last a day or two then became slush 😁
