MrsL83 – Yes we are paying ourselves because it’s our first Motability order in 20 years! Years ago we had an XTrail (3000ap then!) on Motability for a year and it was removed because DLA changed criteria for the higher rate. We were in Yorkshire then on the Lancashire border. Such as pain had to buy the exact same second hand car and colour to get our young daughter into a vehicles without a meltdown.
About 2018 they changed back to the original rules of mental capacity, So I’m hoping the scheme will make life cheaper ( every car we own has cost a fortune!)and they don’t change the assessments again.
Think our nearest Volvo garage would have been Preston or Bradford maybe?
