Well I have just emailed our dealership to ask about our April / May arrival and have been informed that they have received a spreadsheet that shows our build date will be May. Build date! ? I am surprised and very disappointed this news wasn’t voluntarily shared with me as soon as they knew. I am wondering what version that will mean now and how long from build date to arrival with us.
Well if it’s a May build that should be a MY25 as the factory has been retooled for this now.
Getting beyond farcical now, a May build?! I was told by my dealer a while ago my car would definitely be a MY24 but I’m having my doubts. The dealers in general seem to be making stuff up as they go along as they’ve been getting no information from Volvo.
I’ve emailed my dealer about this spreadsheet. If I get told it’s a May build that would probably be a July delivery at the earliest. They can stick the order if that happens and I’ll abandon Motability. Utter farce!
