We eventually test drove the Toyota bZ4x Vision AWD pan roof model. It was a very comfy ride and plenty of space which we required.
Although we were tempted to order the Motion FWD MY24 model (£695 AP), we decided to go for the Vision AWD so will be ordering from the dealer this weekend. Couple of points/queries below if anyone can advise of anything else.
1. As I’m with Octopus Loyalty tariff, I’m planning to change to the Intelligent Go tariff to get the cheap off-peak rate – so to get this I’ve had to book an appointment to get a smart meter installed which should be done mid-May.
2. With regards to the Ohme home charger install, I have a drive and a garage (full of crap so won’t be parking here) and am planning to get it installed on the wall close to the garage as it will be closer to the fuse box to run the cable and drill through one wall. However, I’m not sure which model to choose – Ohme Home Pro or the Ohme ePod as I know that the ePod doesn’t have a fixed cable connected to the ePod but how neat is the tethered cable on the Home Pro as I have very young grandchildren and don’t want them out pulling with cables etc.
3. I have three actual consumer units connected together as it’s a big detached house – 2 were originally there to spread the load and then I had a third one installed when I had the second storey extension built so what is the actual power requirement – I.e. is it a 32amp rcd/trip breaker? I will need which I think there are a few spare ones that are not used.
