I forgot to add he said… “it’s like a lottery” who is getting their cars and there is no order to it. This is so unacceptable! Ive just been on Volvo website to “order” a new car exactly like we are getting and the earliest delivery date is 4 Weeks. NOT 9 months! That’s as a retail customer!
Typical dealer BS. It’s never random. Long delays, when other orders come much quicker, are always the same issue. Dealer accepted the order when they had few or no build allocation slots and those they have had were prioritised to other customers. I suspect that they sat on your order for several months before being able to place it with the factory, but they will never own up to that!
