@Alfanutter – Meet Andrew Ditton. The change is coming, like it or not.

Who the hell is Andrew Ditton?

Yes the EV6 is one of the better EV’s for towing I guess @1600kg but, many EV’s fall short in this regard however, your still governed depending on the size or weight of a caravan you can tow and what M/kWh did he get towing?

There are 3 petrol stations withing a miles of me Diesel 149.9 Petrol 141.9 litre

There aren’t many chargers near me other tha Tesco, there are a few more around 8-10 miles away

Most EV’s Ive looked at average 3.5 milesper kWh

    50kW chargers are 49p kWh

    100-150kW 89p kWh

I haven’t got my thinking cap on but, as a guess 50kWh will cost around the same price as running a petrol or diesel, 100-150kW chargers will be twice the price.

I haven’t mention 7kW chargers out and about as, I value my time ? However I’m lucky to have a drive and beable to charge overnight at home, so have started to look lightly at BEV’s as an option for my next scheme car and keep my private car as a backup.

If I didn’t have the facility to charge at home, I wouldn’t entertain one sorry.
